Tesco

I spent a short stint working at Tesco as part of my work experience. Here I was able to earn valuable experience in customer service work. I worked as part of a team and completed a plethora of tasks. I also discovered my ability to adapt to new workplaces and my desire to work in teams with other people as it added to the enjoyment of working.

Toymaster

At Toymaster I completed similar tasks to those that I did in Tesco, focusing on keeping the store tidy and stocked, while also assisting customers when necessary. This also taught me many valuable skills and experiences as I was given much more independence, forcing me to make certain decisions independently, greatly improving my workplace confidence.

CMG Professional Catering

My time here was much different from my time at the other places where I previously worked as it is a local company that operates on a much lower scale, and is also concerned with different types of work. Here, working in a kitchen with others in a busy environment, I was really able to learn what it means to work as part of a team, and many of the challenges that come with that, which in turn gave me very valuable insight that is hard to gain otherwise.
